Wil Wheaton is a regular on Fark, and posts under the cryptic handle wil [1]. We love him, we do.
Wil's best known for playing the main character, Gordie Lachance in the 1986 film Stand by Me, and for playing Wesley Crusher in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Unfortunately the writers largely had no idea what to do with his character, so they gave him shitty lines. A large chunk of Trek fandom thus really started to hate Wesley, and unfortunately a lot of that hate got transferred to Wil.
Wil's doing pretty well for himself these days. He's a published author and has done guest spots on shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigations, Numb3rs and Criminal Minds. He also does a fair bit of work in the voice acting circuit.
